CCPIT and CCOIC Send Letters to 186 Overseas Counterparts, Calling for Strengthening International Cooperation

Recently, CCPIT and CCOIC sent letters to 186 counterparts in 100 countries and regions, including the United States-China Business Council and the 48 Group Club, expressing gratitude for their support and help in China’s fighting against COVID-19, reporting the recent progress of epidemic prevention and control in China, and proposing to further strengthen cooperation.

CCPIT and CCOIC said, “We are taking effective measures to promote trade and investment, boost commercial legal services to help Chinese and foreign enterprises cope with the adverse effects of the epidemic”. CCPIT and CCOIC are willing to strengthen the institutionalized cooperation with their counterparts and eliminate trade barriers of economic and trade exchanges to build more platforms and provide better services for enterprises to carry out mutually beneficial cooperation and make greater contributions to promoting the development of multilateral and bilateral economic and trade relations and building a community of common destiny for all mankind.

As of March 10, on behalf of the global business community, 150 international organizations, overseas counterparts, business chambers and associations, and international arbitration institutions that have been working closely with CCPIT and CCOIC have expressed their sympathies and support for China’s fight against the epidemic and conveyed their confidence in China’s victory over the epidemic through letters, calls, videos, proposals and open letters.
