Chandrajit Banerjee said, “While appreciating the action taken by the Government of China in controlling the spread of this virus, I am writing to express our solidarity and support to the people and the Government of China in this fight against the epidemic.”

He added, “CII strongly believe that the current situation is a passing one and the economic and business tie between India and China will be restored to normalcy soon.” Chandrajit Banerjee also expressed CII’s willingness to provide help and support as much as possible.
