Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Secretary General Alaa Ezz sent a letter to CCPIT Chairperson Gao Yan, expressing, on behalf of 44 national chambers of commerce and industry in Africa and 4.2 million members of Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, good wishes and sincere greetings to the Chinese people.
Alaa Ezz said, Egypt was the first African country to establish official diplomatic relations with China. The current bilateral relations have been developed to comprehensive strategic partnership.
“With the joint efforts of the Chinese government and people, the epidemic will be defeated soon. We wish the infected people a speedy recovery. Egypt and the African business community will stand with the Chinese people and support China’s fight against COVID-19,” he added.
Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, composed of ten regional chambers of commerce in Egypt, serves the Egyptian business community and promotes the economic development of Egypt. ACCI was founded in 2005 by 44 African national chambers of commerce and industry. It is one of the business associations with the widest coverage and the largest comprehensive influence in Africa with its secretariat permanently residing in the Federation of Egyptian chambers of Commerce.
