CCPIT Vice Chairman Lu Pengqi met with Jorge Juan de la Guardia, President of Panama’s Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Panama City on December 9.

Lu Pengqi expressed his gratitude to the Panama’s Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for their efforts in holding the 13th China-Latin America and the Caribbean Business Summit.

“I hope this summit will be a new starting point to deepen the cooperation between the two sides and build new platforms for industrial practices. Enterprises of the two sides should jointly build the Belt and Road Initiative and promote the sound economic and trade cooperation,” added Lu.

Jorge Juan de la Guardia expressed his gratitude to CCPIT for choosing Panama to hold this summit, “We are willing to strengthen cooperation with CCPIT, promote the participation of Panama’s business community in the Belt and Road Initiative, and achieve mutual benefit.”

Officials from CCPIT Department of Development Research, International Relations, China Chamber of International Commerce and CCPIT Representative Office in Panama were in attendance.
