2019 Xi’an Silk Road Business Summit was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province on December 7. CCPIT Vice Chairman Chen Jian’an attended and addressed the opening ceremony.

Chen Jian’an said, “the Belt and Road Initiative is a major initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping considering the future of mankind. In the past six years, the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative has seen fruitful results. Governments, trade and investment promotion organizations and chambers and associations around the world should organize more discussions, project negotiations and match-making with clear purposes, strengthen policy coordination, integrate resources from all sides, promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation to achieve openness, tolerance, inclusiveness, balance, and win-win results of economic globalization.”

More than 400 guests from more than 70 countries and regions along the Belt and Road were in attendance
