The First Plenary Session of the 6th Committee of CCPIT Zhejiang Provincial Committee was held in Hangzhou on September 27. During the session, the main task of CCPIT Sub-council in the past five years was reviewed, targets and tasks for the coming period were set, and the 6th Committee of CCPIT Zhejiang Provincial Committee was elected. CCPIT Chairperson Gao Yan and Deputy Governor of Zhejiang Province Zhu Congjiu attended and addressed the session.

Gao Yan hailed the achievements of CCPIT Zhejiang Provincial Committee in recent years, and thanked Zhejiang Provincial CPC Committee and People’s Government for their strong support for trade promotion.
“I hope CCPIT Zhejiang Provincial Committee can take the session as an opportunity to arrange its next tasks in a high-standard, high-quality way, to continue to lead the way in deepening reform on all fronts, to set the pace in promoting the development of Zhejiang’s open economy, and to be a strong supporter for providing better services for enterprises in the new era,” said Gao Yan.

“Amid the situation that the world today is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century and socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, CCPIT will give full play to its role as a bridge between the government and enterprises, between domestic and foreign stakeholders to further promote trade and investment, strengthen commercial legal services, and participate in global economic governance to strive for the high-quality development of trade promotion in the new era and make itself a world-class trade and investment promotion agency with Chinese characteristics,” said Gao Yan.

China Chamber of International Commerce Secretary-General Yu Jianlong and officials from CCPIT and Zhejiang Government also attended the session.
