An MoU was signed by Gao Yan, Chairperson of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Yuan Jiajun, Governor of People’s Government of Zhejiang Province in Hangzhou on September 26.

According to the MoU, the two sides will carry out institutional cooperation in seven areas: promoting foreign trade and investment cooperation, upgrading the exhibition industry, conducting international exchanges, strengthening foreign-related commercial legal work, working on policy research and training, providing guidance and support for trade promotion in Zhejiang Province, and boosting cadre exchanges.

Before the signing ceremony, Gao Yan exchanged views with Yuan Jiajun on opening-up, Belt and Road construction, China-US economic and trade frictions, and foreign trade and investment stabilization.

Yu Jianlong, Secretary-General of CCOIC, officials from CCPIT Departments of General Office, Development Research and Trade and Investment Promotion were in attendance.
