Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Zhang Shenfeng met in Beijing with Olivér Joubert, Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of Hungary to China on August 15. The two sides exchanged views on furthering exchanges and promoting cooperation between enterprises in key fields such as automobile and machinery industry.
Zhang Shenfeng said, CCPIT has kept good relations with the Embassy of Hungary and Hungarian counterparts for a long period of time. In recent years, by favor of the Belt and Road Initiative, the fields of China-Hungary cooperation have been expanded, the economy and trade cooperation accelerated and the quality of cooperation lifted.
“This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary. CCPIT is willing to cooperate with the Embassy of Hungary to support its events in key areas in China and continue to further bilateral cooperation,” added Zhang.
Olivér Joubert conveyed his gratitude for CCPIT’s contribution to the development of China-Hungary economic and trade relations.
“The Embassy of Hungary is willing to deepen relations with CCPIT and promote exchanges and cooperation between enterprises in key areas. This year, the embassy intends to hold business events about auto industry in Beijing. We hope to get the support of CCPIT and jointly boost bilateral economic and trade ties,” said Olivér.
