CCPIT Chairperson Gao Yan met with Convenor of the ANC Progressive Business Forum

Chairperson of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Gao Yan met with Daryl Swanepoel, Convenor of ANC (African National Congress) Progressive Business Forum in Johannesburg, South Africa on July 18. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening exchanges and cooperation and further promoting the development of China-Africa economic and trade relations.

Gao Yan said, in recent years, China-Africa economic and trade relations have developed in depth, and the cooperation between the two countries in the fields of capacity, infrastructure construction, human resources development, digital economy and high technology has yielded fruitful results.

“CCPIT is willing to deepen cooperation with ANC (African National Congress) Progressive Business Forum, and give full play to our respective advantages, enhance mechanism cooperation and other cooperation in the fields of enterprise exchange and cooperation platform construction, services and policy coordination, making more contributions to the development of bilateral economic and trade relations,” added Gao.

Daryl Swanepoel noted, ANC (African National Congress) Progressive Business Forum and CCPIT have long enjoyed friendly relations. The two sides have cooperated closely in terms of group visits and economic and trade events hosting.

“We hope the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation, actively expand new areas and further more cooperation,” added Daryl.
