The “Guangxi Day” of the Expo 2019 Beijing kicked off at Guirui Theatre on July 18. Fang Chunming, Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Zhang Shenfeng, Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) attended and addressed the opening ceremony.

Zhang Shenfeng noted, Guangxi has achieved remarkable progress in the promotion of green development and the construction of ecological civilization, and also has a strong momentum in the development of health industry, green industry and circular economy.

“We hope that Guangxi could make full use of the unique culture, resources and products displayed at the Expo 2019 Beijing, further enhancing international economic, trade and cultural exchanges and cooperation, and expanding opening-up,” added Zhang.

Zhang Shenfeng also attended and delivered a speech at the Trade and Investment Promotion Conference.

“CCPIT will give full play to its advantages outside China, providing support for the promotion of Guangxi products along the Belt and Road countries and making new contributions to the economic and social development of Guangxi,” said Zhang.
