The “Maoming City Day” of the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing (Expo 2019 Beijing) kicked off on July 12. Hu Fan, Deputy Director of the China Pavilion of the Expo 2019 Beijing, and Yuan Gujie, Mayor of Maoming City, attended and addressed the ceremony.

Hu Fan said, in the past few years, Maoming City has, following the idea of green development, striven to build itself into a modern coastal city.

“China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will fully take its advantages in trade and investment promotion to support Maoming in shaping a new pattern of comprehensive opening-up and achieving quality green development,” added Hu.

Themed at “Kind, Green Coastal Maoming”, the “Maoming City Day” consists of tourism and policy promotion as well as culture and arts performance.
