The “Malawi National Day” of the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing (Expo 2019 Beijing) kicked off on July 3. Charles Enoch Namondwe, Malawi’s ambassador to China, Bertrand B. Khanyizira, Deputy Director of International Cooperation at Malawi's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Hu Fan, Deputy Director of the China Pavilion of Expo 2019 Beijing, attended and addressed the ceremony.

Hu Fan said, Expo 2019 Beijing is an international event for all countries to share the outcomes of ecological conservation and work together to make ecological progress. Malawi's wonderful exhibition at the Expo 2019 Beijing will surely promote trade, people-to-people and cultural cooperation between China and Malawi, let more countries, including China, get to know Malawi's trade and investment opportunities, and experience Malawi's food and arts, and encourage the people of the two countries to jointly seek new development opportunities and build a beautiful earth.
