China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) FTA Local Service Centers was unveiled in Nanjing on June 28. Nearly 80 representatives from 35 CCPIT sub-councils were in attendance. Zhang Shenfeng, Vice Chairman of CCPIT, attended and addressed at the opening ceremony.

Zhang Shenfeng noted, it is CCPIT’s key measures to implement the decisions of the Party and the State Council in term of FTA promotion and service.

“We should fully recognize the importance of carrying out this work, firmly advance, further improve the quality of service, help enterprises to make better use of the FTA to expand markets, and make contributions to China's opening up and economic growth,” added Zhang.

CCPIT has recently launched the construction of FTA Local Service Centers, focusing on improving the use of FTA to help enterprises expand exports, and striving to stabilize foreign investment and trade.

Eleven CCPIT sub-councils were first presented, including Tianjin, Chongqing, Guangxi, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Fujian, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Nanjing and Shenzhen. The next step is to promote the benefits of FTA to more enterprises through strengthening the promotion of FTA, guiding and training, information consultation, research and negotiation proposals.
