The“Dongying City Day” of Expo 2019 Beijing kicked off on June 21. Hu Fan, Deputy Director of China Pavilion and Feng Yidong, Deputy Mayor of Dongying City addressed the opening ceremony. Yang Mengbin, Vice Chairman of Standing Committee of Dongying Municipal People’s Congress host the ceremony.

Hu Fan said, Expo 2019 Beijing offered a significant platform for all Chinese provinces and cities to showcase their local features and charm in an all-round way. The “Dongying City Day” was an important part of the “Shandong Day” event.

“Making full use of Expo 2019 Beijing, a broad platform for international exchange and cooperation, I wish Dongying City could promote the green development concept of putting ecology first to showcase the unique charm in achieving harmony between people and nature, adding attraction to the Expo and contributing its part to living green and living better,” added Hu.

With the theme of “Coming Home with the Yellow River”, the “Dongying City Day” held tourism promotion, policy promotion as well as art performances.
