Gao Yan introduced the new measures taken by the Chinese government to comprehensively deepen reform and expand opening-up.

“As a globally renowned multinational enterprise, Microsoft’s rapid development in China is inseparable from China’s Reform and Opening-Up as well as the huge market, and its own China-oriented operation strategies. Microsoft's achievements in China are a good example of dividends that the close cooperation between China and the U.S. has brought to American companies including Microsoft. The trade friction provoked by the U.S. will affect not only Chinese companies, but also the U.S. ones. I hope Microsoft and other well-known U.S. companies can spread their stories of successful development in China and work with CCPIT to promote the sound and stable development of the China-U.S. economic and trade relations,” added Gao.

Gao Yan said, the Chinese government attaches great importance to the business environment.

“As one of the largest foreign-invested enterprises in China, Microsoft can actively share requests of the U.S. companies in China, and join hands with CCPIT and China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) to contribute to the further improvement of the business environment and to deepening understanding between China-U.S. political and business communities,” said Gao.

Yan Xuan introduced Microsoft’s business in China and worldwide.

“I’m willing to strengthen cooperation with CCPIT, actively participate in various events, and enhance communication and exchanges with political and business communities of China and the U.S. to contribute to promoting China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation,” added Yan.

Officials from CCPIT Department of International Relations and CCOIC Department of Bilateral Cooperation were in attendance.
