CCPIT Vice Chairman Lu Pengqi met with Satish Kumar Moore, the President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) on April 26 in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on promoting the China-Nepal economic and trade relations and deepening cooperation between the two agencies.
Lu Pengqi said, China and Nepal enjoy huge potentials for cooperation in trade, investment, tourism and other fields. CCPIT is willing to cooperate with the CNI to make full use of platforms as exhibitions, forums and B2B matchmaking conferences to actively promote competitive products of Nepal, drive Chinese enterprises to invest in Nepal, further promote cooperation between Chinese and Nepalese enterprises and jointly contribute to the Belt and Road construction.
Moore said, Nepal’s industrial and business communities are willing to actively participate in the Belt and Road construction, and share China's development opportunities to boost Nepal’s infrastructure and industrial development. The CNI hopes to strengthen cooperation with CCPIT to promote the export of more competitive Nepalese products to China, and attract more Chinese investment invest and do business in Nepal to achieve mutual benefit and win-win development.
