A forum on the Commissioner General of the international gardens at Expo 2019 Beijing was held in Beijing on May 7. Chen Zhou, Commissioner General of Expo 2019 Beijing and Vice Chairman of CCPIT hosted the forum. Yu Jianlong, Vice Commissioner and Secretary-General of China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), Zhang Yinchao, Vice Commissioner and Deputy Secretary-General of China Flower Association, Ye Dahua, Vice Commissioner and Deputy Director of Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Coordination Bureau (Bureau), Wang Chuncheng , Deputy Director of Bureau, Jiao Yutong, Director of First Exhibition Attracting Department of Bureau, Hu Fan, Deputy Director of the China Pavilion and Zhou Jianxiu, Director of Chief Government Representative Office of Expo 2019 Beijing attended the forum. Commissioner generals of the gardens of the International Association of Horticultural Producers, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, Myanmar, Azerbaijan, Uruguay, Guatemala, Sudan and other countries and international organizations were in attendance.  

Chen Zhou first conveyed his gratitude to representatives and exhibitors for their hard work at Expo 2019 Beijing. He said, the forum was to further strengthen the communication and cooperation with exhibitors, follow their suggestions and actively study demands of exhibitors and respond promptly. “We will have in-depth exchanges with exhibitors through forum, social networking, visits and other events,” added Chen.

Commissioner generals from pavilions of the participating countries and international organizations thanked the Chinese government for its strong support. They made proposals regarding certificate and license application, information release, security check, transportation and other issues, to which the Bureau replied one by one. The Bureau solved some problems during the forum and said special meetings would be held as soon as possible to discuss and resolve the problems afterwards, with which the commissioner generals were satisfied.
