CCPIT Vice Chairman Chen Zhou met in Beijing with Juan Cortina, President of Latin American Business Council, who is also Vice Chairman of Mexican Federation of Chambers of Industry and Commerce on April 24. Juan is in Beijing attending the Belt and Road CEO Conference, a new highlight and important sideline event of the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF). The two sides exchanged views on further deepening cooperation and jointly promoting cooperation between Chinese, Latin American and Mexican enterprises.
Chen Zhou noted, in recent years more and better practical economic and trade cooperation between China and Latin America has been seen. The CCPIT is ready to join hands with the Latin American Business Council and Mexican Federation of Chambers of Industry and Commerce to further strengthen cooperation, encourage Chinese and Latin American enterprises to actively participate in the Belt and Road construction, and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in economy and trade.
Cortina said, it is a great pleasure to be invited to attend the Belt and Road CEO Conference. He is willing to further cooperate with CCPIT and encourage more Latin American enterprises to join in the Belt and Road construction.
Chen signed, on behalf of CCPIT, the MoUs with the two organizations respectively after the meeting.
