CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Shenfeng attends the 9th China-CEEC Business Forum and addresses the parallel session

During the 8th Summit of China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC), the 9th China-CEEC Business Forum was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia on April 12 which was co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts of Croatia. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic attended the opening ceremony and delivered keynote speeches. CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Shenfeng was invited to attend the forum and addressed at the parallel session themed at “investment and infrastructure”.

Zhang Shenfeng noted, under the guidance of the Belt and Road construction and “16+1 cooperation”, fruitful results have been achieved in the cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries in investment and infrastructure construction. He also suggested stepping up cooperation in the fields of infrastructure construction, quality production capacity, innovation and financial services, etc.

In response to concerns about the Foreign Investment Law of the People’s Republic of China, Zhang Shenfeng said, the law set out rules and regulations about foreign capital access, promotion, protection and management, etc, providing an important legal guarantee for creating a legalized, internationalized and facilitating business environment. He also extended his welcome to companies from all countries including those from central and eastern Europe to invest and launch businesses in China.
