Seminar on El Salvador trade and investment opportunities held in Beijing

A seminar on trade and investment opportunities of El Salvador was held in Beijing on April 29. The event, co-hosted by CCPIT and Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) invited nearly 200 participants from both countries. CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Shenfeng and El Salvador’s ambassador to China Walter Eduardo Duran Martinez attended and addressed the seminar.

Zhang Shenfeng said, the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and El Salvador created cooperation opportunities for both countries. CCPIT is willing to foster cooperation with PROESA to promote bilateral economic and trade development. 

Duran hailed the seminar having contributed to deepening mutually-beneficial cooperation between enterprises of both sides in the Belt and Road construction so as to bring more benefits to both peoples.

President of PROESA Sigfrido Reyes shared the trade and investment opportunities of El Salvador saying that his country is rich in high-quality sugar and coffee which can meet the huge demand of the Chinese market. El Salvador expects to expand export to China its agricultural products and welcomes more investment from China.

Enterprises from both countries matched their projects after the seminar.
