Jiang Zengwei hailed the long-term friendly relations between China and South Africa, saying that the bilateral practical cooperation has been deepened by favor of the Forum of China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and BRICS cooperation. CCPIT and ANC Progressive Business Forum have kept close contact. CCPIT hoped to further enhance friendly relations, carry out more work plans, conduct more information exchange, visits of business delegation, and provide more services and supports for enterprises of both countries, contributing to the development of Sino-South African and Sino-African business ties.

Swanepoel echoed Jiang’s remarks, saying that South Africa and China bear huge cooperation potentials in economy and trade. The new government of South Africa has mapped out a series of policies to attract foreign investment, foster the development of companies, and speed up the industrialization process. The ANC Progressive Business Forum is willing to conduct more exchange of visits of business delegations with CCPIT, as well as market research so as to contribute more to boosting Sino-South African economic and trade relations.
