A strategic cooperation agreement was signed between China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Shandong Provincial Government in Beijing on April 28.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by CCPIT Chairman Jiang Zengwei and Deputy Governor of Shandong Province Ren Airong.

According to the agreement, CCPIT and Shandong Province will cooperate in the promotion of outbound trade and investment, international exchanges, the upgrading of exhibition industry, foreign commercial legal services, policy research, training sessions, etc.

Jiang Zengwei noted, as an important region along the economic corridor of the new Eurasian continental bridge, Shandong province has a good location in the cooperation with South Korea and Japan. Shandong plays an essential role in China’s economic and trade cooperation with South Korea and Japan.

“CCPIT is willing to work with Shandong Province to further explore cooperation in commercial legal consultation, arbitration and mediation,” added Jiang.
