Chinese Edition of ICC Intellectual Property Roadmap 2017 Released

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) recently released the Chinese edition of its flagship publication, the ICC Intellectual Property Roadmap 2017.

The Roadmap provides business community and policy-makers with comprehensive and concise overview of major global intellectual property policy issues.

The 2017 edition is the 13th of its kind since the roadmap was first published.

The Chinese edition, translated by Patent and Trademark Law Office of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) was already released on the ICC official website.

The Roadmap 2017, compiled by nearly 80 intellectual property experts from across the world, saw new developments that have exerted influence on the intellectual property community. Therefore, the Roadmap 2017 has been updated based on the previous edition. The sections on valuation and monetization of IP assets, patents and standards, designs, trademark restrictions on packaging, domain names, plant varieties, information products, sustainable development, climate change, innovation and competition have been largely rewritten.

Published every two to three years, the IP Roadmap has been translated into Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and other languages.

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is the largest, most representative business organization in the world. It has 6 million members in over 100 countries.
