CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade) Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone Service Center, the eighth of its kind among the 11 pilot free trade zones in China, was unveiled in Zhoushan on November 2.
CCPIT Vice Chairman Lu Pengqi and Deputy Mayor of Zhoushan Xu Xiaoyue attended and addressed the inauguration ceremony.
Lu Pengqi noted, the initiation of the Pilot Free Trade Zone Service Center marked a solid step forward for CCPIT to implement China’s Pilot Free Trade Zone strategy. CCPIT will take full advantage of its broad connections with business community at home and abroad, its large variety of trade and investment promotion approaches, and its good services in commercial and legal sectors, to provide one-stop and comprehensive services for enterprises at the Pilot Free Trade Zone, contributing to the development of Zhoushan and Zhejiang Province.
Xu Xiaoyue said, since the establishment of the Pilot Free Trade Zone, Zhejiang Province has made reform and innovation in commodities, such as oil and the Pilot Free Trade Zone has also gained its international reputation. The service center will assist the enterprises in the zone with the access to high-quality commercial and legal services, facilitate trade and investment and build up an internationalized and legalized business environment. Xu added, the Pilot Free Trade Zone will proactively participate in trade and investment promotion events held by CCPIT.
