A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Honduras-China Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCHC) in the city of San Pedro Sula of Honduras on October 12.

The signing of the MoU was witnessed by CCPIT Vice Chairman Chen Zhou and ACCHC Chairman Salmon Lopez, who held a meeting and discussed about fostering the cooperation between the two agencies. Chen welcomed Honduras participate in the 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition.

Both sides have agreed to establish a work mechanism for annual meeting, strengthen cooperation in trade and investment promotion, commercial and legal services, exchange of visits, research and investigation on trade issues, information sharing and trainings, in a bid to creating more trade and investment opportunities for enterprises of both countries.

Chen Zhou noted, Honduras-China Chamber of Commerce and Investment is CCPIT’s important cooperation partner in Honduras. The signing of the MoU is conducive to companies of both countries to enjoy better services from CCPIT and ACCHC. Chen hoped ACCHC can promote Honduras government to confirm the country’s participation in the 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition.

Lopez said, ACCHC and CCPIT will further cooperation in various fields and help to make Honduras government to confirm the participation of the horticultural event.
