The CCPIT Chairman Jiang Zengwei hosted the 11th EU-China Business Summit and delivered a speech at the summit on the morning of July 13. 

Jiang said that with 11 years' development, EU-China Business Summit has become the most important and influential event for EU and China business industry. Entrepreneurs of both EU and China shall strengthen communications, enhance understanding, explore cooperation opportunities and implement a batch of trade and economic projects. It has made important contribution to the improvement of China-EU economic and trade cooperation and expansion of bilateral trade and economic relationship.  

Jiang Zengwei emphasized that the speeches made by leaders of both EU and China have rich meanings and deep insights. They reviewed the achievement of EU-China cooperation in recent years and gave forecast of future development, to provide clear direction for the development of EU-China economic relationship and boost confidence of entrepreneurs of both sides. He hopes that the EU and Chinese business industry shall grasp the opportunity, make more contributions to the establishment of overall strategic partnership between China and EU, deepness of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and the world economic growth and prosperity.

 More than 600 representatives from 435 Chinese and European enterprises made deep discussion around the theme of “overall cooperation to write a new chapter” and three topics of “embracing new industrial revolution”, “promoting bilateral investment” and “deepening connectivity”. 

The EU-China Business Summit was held once per year. This summit is organized by MOFCOM and the Trade Department of European Commission, and held by the CCPIT and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China.
