CCPIT signed strategic cooperation agreement with Bank of Communications

The signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement between CCPIT and China Bank of Communications was held on the afternoon of February 5. Chairman of the CCPIT Jiang Zengwei and President of Bank of Communications Niu Ximing attended the ceremony. Vice Chairman of the CCPIT Wang Jinzhen and Vice President of Bank of Communications Wang Jiang signed the strategic cooperation agreement with the aim of joining hands in upgrading services to help foreign trade enterprises.

This cooperation is an important measure of the CCPIT in compliance with the national requests in promotion of foreign trade and SMEs’ growth. Under the agreement, the CCPIT and Bank of Communications will display their respective advantages to jointly promote the construction of integrated service platform for small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises, and integrate services and channels to provide comprehensive trade and financial services covering the whole process of import and export for enterprises.

Jiang Zengwei said, along with the advancement of the national major strategies like “Belt and Road Initiative” and "Internet Plus", China's SMEs are facing golden opportunities for development. The CCPIT will, as always, continue to fulfill its functions in serving enterprises and speaking for the business circle, to meet the demands of the State Council in its document Views on Further Promotion of SMEs’ Development. It will also work together with Bank of Communications to create a one-stop foreign trade service platform integrating enterprises, information and services, thus helping small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises in their healthy and rapid development.

Niu Ximing said, Bank of Communications, relying on comprehensive and international strategy, has formed a sound service network at home and abroad and comprehensive financial service system with its consistent base on the real economy and focus on service for trade enterprises. He added, cooperation with CCPIT will have synergistic effect on financial and non-financial services and form demonstration effect in serving trade companies, to better fulfill the responsibility and mission of the two sides in serving the real economy.  

The strategic cooperation will enhance the breadth and depth, quality and efficiency of the two sides in serving trade enterprises with sharing respective advantages, help SMEs to make full use of resources and seize opportunities for transformation and upgrading and further growth in the process of going global.

 After the ceremony, Jiang accepted the interview of China Daily, Xinhua Net, China Business Times and other media.

Lin Shunjie, Director General of the Trade and Investment Promotion Department chaired the ceremony with presence of officials from other relevant departments.
