The launching ceremony of three centers--Trade Promotion Center, Investment Promotion Center and Enterprises’ Rights Protection Center of the CCPIT was held in Beijing on December 11. Mr. Jiang Zengwei, Chairman of CCPIT, and Vice Chairman of CCPIT, Mr. Zhang Wei, Mr. Wang Jinzhen, and Mr. Yin Zonghua attended the ceremony. Mr. Jiang Zengwei, Mr. Zhang Wei and Mr. Yin Zonghua jointly unveiled the plaque for the Centers while Mr. Wang Jinzhen hosted the event.

 In his speech, Mr. Zhang Wei said the establishment of the three centers met the demand of the CCPIT in its adaption for domestic business situation and service for national foreign trade strategies, and its demand in expansion of functions and trade &investment promotion platform.

 The Trade Promotion Center is expected to provide Chinese enterprises with specialized financing services, promote the settlement of their financing difficulties and high cost, push forward trade liberalization and facilitation, and implement the national FTA negotiation achievements. It will also actively implement the national “Internet Plus” Plan to promote cross-border e-commerce development.

 The Investment Promotion Center will focus on service and investment. On the one hand, it will integrate resources within the CCPIT, such as information, exhibition, training, intellectual property, legal service and other quality services, and introduce social resources including investment advisers, financial advisers and auditing and taxation, to establish a market-oriented, specialized and complete investment service system for one-stop service for enterprises’ cross-border investment; on the other hand, it will attract various social private equity to jointly build an open platform to support enterprises’ cross-border investments and solve their financing difficulties.

The Enterprises’ Rights Protection Center will center on China's major development strategies, such as the Belt and Road Initiative, and “go global” strategy, make use of its advantage as an official and civil institution, play the CCPIT’s role in helping Chinese enterprises in deal with trade frictions under the new situation and offering legal services in foreign investment, improve the CCPIT commercial legal service system, and provide a full range of legal services for China's enterprises’ business.

After the ceremony, Mr. Jiang Zengwei received a joint interview from reporters of over 20 media including Xinhua News Agency and CCTV and answered their questions.
