China-ASEAN Business Leaders Forum Successfully Held in Nanning, Guangxi

On September 17, the China-ASEAN Business Leaders Forum was successfully held in Nanning, Guangxi. U Nyo Saw, Myanmar's Prime Minister attended the opening ceremony, while Sun Dawei, chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Li Qingshuang, Vice Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and Shi Zhongjun, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-China Center, attended and delivered speeches.

Li Qingshuang stated that the CCPIT is willing to work with the business communities of ASEAN countries to jointly promote the implementation of the Version 3.0 China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA) , expand cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, enhance the level of cross-border cooperation in industrial and supply chains, and build a win-win market. 

The 22nd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit was jointly organized by the CCPIT, the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the chambers of commerce of the 10 ASEAN member countries. As the plenary session of the Summit, the Forum attracted approximately 500 participants from the political, business, and academic sectors, as well as enterprise representatives from China and ASEAN countries. During the Forum, outcomes including the “Research Report on China-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Industry Cooperation” were released, and a promotional event for the China International Supply Chain Expo was held.
