On November 28, the 2025 Work Conference for the Coordinated Development of the National Trade Promotion System was held in Beijing. Under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Conference stressed the need to fully implement the essence of the 20th CPC National Congress and all plenary sessions of its 20th CPC Central Committee. Efforts should be made to focus on the trade promotion system to drive the development of "three synergies", implement the arrangements for the "Year of Coordinated Development" plan, summarize the achievements of coordinated development work across the national trade promotion system, and study and deploy measures to further advance coordinated development. Chen Jian'an, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended and addressed the Conference.

At the Conference, it was emphasized that the national trade promotion system should thoroughly study and implement the guidelines from the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, accurately grasp the higher requirements for coordinated development during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, and adhere to an overarching perspective, coordination and collaboration, highlight on key areas, and precise policy execution. With a focus on forging top-level designs for coordinated development, it is necessary to improve coordinated development mechanisms that connect all levels, strive to build well-recognized trade promotion work brands, continuously strengthen the supporting and guaranteeing systems, and pool stronger synergies for development across the national trade promotion system. These efforts aim to propel the high-quality development of trade promotion endeavors to a new height by leveraging the new results of coordinated development, and to make new, greater contributions to comprehensively advancing the building of a strong country and the realization of national rejuvenation through the Chinese path to modernization.
