On September 23, the 2025 License Executives Society (LES) China Annual Conference opened in Xi’an. Li Xingqian, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended and addressed the opening ceremony.
Li Xingqian stated that with the surging wave of global scientific and technological innovation, intellectual property (IP) has become a strategic resource for national development and a core element of international competition, while IP licensing is a vital link for technology transfer and value realization. The CCPIT is willing to work together with the global business community to build an open and fair IP licensing ecosystem, bringing more and greater benefits to people of all countries through innovation.
Under the theme “Innovation Nexus on Silk Road-Shaping Licensing across the World”, the conference was hosted by the LES China (with its secretariat established within CCPIT). It brought together more than 300 participants, including representatives from domestic and foreign government agencies, the business community, experts, and scholars.
