On June 21, 2026, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met in Beijing with a delegation led by Mr. Paul Mashatile, Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa, who traveled to China specifically for the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE). Also present at the meeting were Jagoda Lazarević, Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Čadež, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Karim Zidane, Morocco’s Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence and the Evaluation of Public Policies, John W.H. Denton AO, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Jennifer Jordan-Saifi, CEO of the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI), and Arsjad Rasjid, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin). The discussions focused on maintaining stable and smooth global industrial and supply chains, deepening cooperation between institutions, leveraging the role of the business communities, and facilitating two-way trade and investment cooperation between enterprises.
The 4th CISCE is hosted by the CCPIT and organized by China International Exhibition Center Group Limited (CIEC). It will take place from June 22 to 26, 2026, at the Shunyi Venue of the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, under the theme “Connecting the World for a Shared Future.” More than 200 overseas delegations are visiting the Expo for exchanges and business discussions.
