On October 24, Chongqing Tour for Chambers of Commerce and Industry Along the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor was held in Chongqing. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) , as well as Hu Henghua, Deputy Secretary of Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Mayor of Chongqing attended and addressed the conference.
Ren Hongbin said that the new international land-sea trade corridor was the golden bond connecting countries along the Belt and Road, and the cooperation of chambers of commerce and industry along the corridor had a bright future. Relying on the corridor, the CCPIT, the CCOIC, together with the international chambers of commerce and industry along the corridor would strengthen practical cooperation in enhancing trade and investment cooperation, deepening the commercial legal services, stabilizing and facilitating global industrial and supply chains, as well as promoting mutual recognition on international rules and standards, as efforts to promote exchanges and cooperation among the business communities of all countries, contributing more to common development and prosperity of the region and even the world.
After the conference, the Cooperation Roundtable for Chambers of Commerce and Industry Along the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor was held. Ren Hongbin and leaders of business associations from 16 countries including Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Serbia, and the United Kingdom attended the meeting, and held discussions on expanding exchanges and cooperation.
