On the morning of June 23, the Thematic Event on Clean Energy was successfully held in Beijing during the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE). Liu Jiannan, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), and Liang Changxin, Director of Supervision of the National Energy Administration and other distinguished guests, attended the event and delivered speeches.
Liu Jiannan noted that amid ongoing profound transformations in the global energy landscape, digital and intelligent transformation and green development are rapidly converging. Clean energy has emerged as a core driver of this transformation, continuously pushing industrial and supply chains toward decarbonization and greener growth. The CCPIT will continue to provide high-quality platforms and comprehensive services for clean energy enterprises from China and abroad. He called on all stakeholders to seize this opportunity to build consensus, deepen cooperation, and promote the development of global energy supply chains that are clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient.
Liang Changxin pointed out that China has seen sustained growth in its clean energy supply capacity, achieved successive breakthroughs in clean energy technology innovation, and made steady progress in improving its energy regulations and policies. In doing so, it has made ever-greater contributions to global green development. He called on stakeholders to strengthen exchanges and mutual trust, pool efforts for collaboration, and work together to foster a secure and reliable global clean energy supply chain.
Huang Yongzhang, President of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), Chen Yanbin, Vice President of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec Corp.), Li Xiaofei, Vice President of the China Datang Corporation Ltd. delivered keynote speeches. Representatives from organizations and companies, including Machinery Environmental Protection Industry Development Center under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation and China Energy International Group engaged in in-depth discussions centered on “Innovation Leads—Ushering in a New Era of Green Energy” and “Multi-Engine Growth—Building a New Ecosystem of the Energy Supply Chain”. They shared practical experience in technology R&D, engineering construction, energy-saving equipment, and integrated services, providing diverse solutions to improve the green energy development system and strengthen industrial chain resilience.
Themed “Green” Drives the Future: Transformation and Upgrading of the Energy Supply Chain and China's Strength, the event was hosted by the CCOIC. More than 200 Chinese and foreign representatives from government agencies, central state-owned energy enterprises, and environmental organizations attended the event.
