On March 19, the Second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) Hainan Promotion Event and Signing Ceremony was successfully held in Haikou, Hainan province. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Bater, Executive Vice Governor of Hainan Province, attended the event and witnessed the signing ceremony.

According to Ren Hongbin, CISCE is the world’s first national exhibition themed on the supply chain. China’s hosting of the CISCE echoes call of the times and provides a global platform that encourages all stakeholders to improve communication, foster deeper cooperation, and pursue common development. To speed up the development of new quality productive forces, the second CISCE will set up a new exhibition area for advanced manufacturing supply chain. As of right now, the preparations are going well, and over 170 domestic and international businesses have confirmed their participation. Following the principle of holding exhibitions that are international, specialized, market-oriented, and green, the CCPIT will strive to make the CISCE a fresh platform that advances high-standard opening-up, facilitates the fostering of a new pattern of development, boosts the building of an open world economy, and acts on the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Ten representative enterprises of Hainan signed contracts with the expo organizer, China International Exhibition Center Group Limited, on the spot. The event witnessed the participation of responsible officials from the CCPIT’s relevant departments, persons in charge of relevant departments and cities (counties, industrial parks) of the province, leading officials of the CCPIT Hainan sub-council and other municipal sub-councils, as well as representatives of Chinese and foreign enterprises.
