In her address, Li Qingshuang stated that the CCPIT had meticulously organized China’s participation in the Osaka Expo, successfully fulfilling its mission. She announced that the China Pavilion had been honored with the Gold Award for Exhibition Design in the Self-Built Pavilions category, presented by the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE). This marks the first time China has received a gold award at a comprehensive overseas World Expo, representing a historic breakthrough. Li expressed her hope that all parties concerned will take this Expo as a new starting point, uphold the spirit of “Understanding, Communication, Gathering, and Cooperation” of World Expos, actively promote exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, and jointly strive to create a better future.

Xue Jian remarked that the China Pavilion, with its splendid exhibition content and professional services, became one of the most popular national pavilions. He noted that winning the first gold award at a comprehensive World Expo overseas right here in Osaka adds a brilliant chapter to the friendship between China and Japan.

Matsumoto Masayoshi commented that the China Pavilion vividly showcased China’s time-honored history, profound culture, and technological advancements, effectively fostering exchanges between Japan and China. He expressed his anticipation for both sides to continue working together to build the green future society championed by the Expo and to carry forward this legacy of cooperation.
