On April 18, 2026, the 2nd “Friendship Cup” Sino-Foreign Government-Enterprise Basketball Invitational kicked off in Beijing Dongdan Sports Center. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Michael Hart, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Ren Jianghao, Deputy District Mayor of Dongcheng District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality and around 300 participants of 20 teams from relevant ministries, foreign embassies, foreign chambers of commerce in China and foreign-funded enterprises joined in the opening ceremony, which was presided over by CCPIT Vice Chairman Li Xingqian.

This invitational was hosted by the CCPIT and supported by the CBA and Dongcheng District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, aiming to create a platform for Chinese and foreign governments and business communities to strengthen exchanges, deepen friendship and promote cooperation.

Compared to the first edition, this invitational added the Fujian division.
