Ren Hongbin Attends the Second Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference

On September 4th, the Second Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference was held in Beijing. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), also attended and addressed the opening ceremony.

Ren Hongbin stated that China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic cooperative partners. Over the years, the two countries have adhered to the principle of extensive consultation and joint contribution for shared benefit, achieving fruitful outcomes in economic and trade cooperation and facilitating integrated development between the two countries. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) will work together with its Pakistani partners to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, further solidify the multilateral and bilateral commercial cooperation mechanisms, deepen cooperation in industrial and supply chains, promote the upgrading of trade and investment cooperation between enterprises of the two countries, so as to make greater contributions to accelerate the building of an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era.

Before the Conference, Ren Hongbin met with Pakistan's Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Permanent Secretary Jawad Paul.
