CCPIT Vice Chairperson Li Qingshuang Attends Launch Ceremony of Russia’s Red Square Livestreaming E-commerce Festival

On May 17, the Red Square Livestreaming E-commerce Festival kicked off in Moscow, Russia. Li Qingshuang, Vice Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended the launch ceremony in person and delivered a speech. The event was also graced by the presence of Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Zhang Hanhui, Chinese Ambassador to Russia, and representatives from both governments and business communities.

Li Qingshuang highlighted that the festival represents an innovative initiative in China-Russia economic and trade exchanges, further enriching the lives of Chinese consumers. She expressed CCPIT’s commitment to leveraging this event as an opportunity to work with Russian cooperation partners to continue to follow through on the consensus reached between the two heads of state during their meetings and facilitate communication between the two countries' business communities.

The Red Square Livestreaming E-commerce Festival was hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, with the CCPIT serving as the Chinese coordinating partner. The festival featured a diverse range of products, including agricultural goods and daily necessities, and offered a product portfolio valued at approximately RMB 150 million. The event aims to introduce authentic Russian products to Chinese consumers, strengthen people-to-people bonds, and advance China-Russia cross-border e-commerce cooperation.
