On March 17, local time, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), led a delegation to Italy and met with Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The two sides exchanged views on leveraging the FAO platform to uphold and practice true multilateralism, jointly participating in and organizing events, promoting international cooperation in agricultural trade and investment, and achieving the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
