On September 7, the Sixth Forum of Maritime Silk Road Legal Services District was held in Xiamen. Liu Jiannan, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Chairman of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), attended and addressed the opening ceremony.

Liu Jiannan noted that the Maritime Silk Road Legal Services District serves as an important platform for supporting the development of the Maritime Silk Road and exploring innovative in foreign-related legal services. The CCPIT and the ICDPASO stand ready to join forces in pooling commercial legal resources, delivering tangible enterprise services, and cultivating legal talent, so as to empower the high-quality development of the Maritime Silk Road Legal Services District.

Themed “Innovating Rule of Law Supply, Building a Rule of Law Highland: Empowering the High-Quality Development of the Maritime Silk Road through High-Level Legal Services District”, the Forum was co-hosted by the ICDPASO and the Office of the Leading Group for the Construction of the Maritime Silk Road Legal Services District, and other organizations. Over 200 participants from relevant government agencies, business associations and chambers of commerce, universities, enterprises, and other sectors attended the event in person.
