On the afternoon of November 27, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met with delegations from the Association of Chinese Enterprises in Macao and the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) attending the first China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing. They exchanged views on such topics as promoting Macao’s integration into national development, leveraging the role of Macao as a Commercial and Trade Cooperation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, assisting small and medium-sized enterprises in Macao in integrating into the global supply and value chains, and participating in the first CISCE.

On the same day, Ren Hongbin also met with Steve Hilton, Global Vice President of Cargill, Incorporated. The two sides had discussions on such topics as enhancing exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and American business communities, as well as the development of Cargill in China.
