On July 12th, the Eco Forum Global Guiyang 2021 and the Sino-Swiss Dialogue 2021 were held in Guiyang International Eco-Conference Center. Zhang Shaogang, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended the forum and delivered a speech.

Zhang Shaogang said ecological progress is an important part of the Five-sphere Integrated Plan for socialism with Chinese characteristics, which concerns the well-being of the people and the future of the nation. With the theme of "Mountainous Economy, Green Development", the "Sino-Swiss Dialogue" explored the development path of green technology and new low-carbon economy, which is of great practical significance. In the spirit of openness, cooperation and innovation, the CCPIT will continue to promote the interaction and connectivity between China and Switzerland on green innovation ecosystems and make greater positive contributions to the growth of bilateral economic and trade relations.

The event was co-hosted by the Embassy of Switzerland in China and the People's Government of Guizhou Province, and organized by CCPIT Guizhou Sub-council (The Expo Affairs Bureau of Guizhou Province) and Consulate General of Switzerland in Chengdu.
