On February 15th, Mr. Zhang Shaogang, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met with Mr. Zhou Tao, President of Royal DSM N.V. (hereinafter referred to as DSM) China, in Beijing.

Zhang Shaogang said that China will stay committed to promoting high-standard opening up, steadily expand institutional opening up with regard to rules, regulations, management, and standards, and foster a world-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized. He hopes that DSM will take root in China to develop further. The CCPIT will fully leverage its strengths in system resources and give full play to the role of special task forces set up for serving foreign enterprises, in a bid to provide better services for their development in China.

Zhou Tao introduced DSM’s operation and business plans in China. He expressed that DSM attaches great importance to the Chinese market and is confident in the future of the Chinese economy. He also added that DSM is willing to strengthen pragmatic exchanges and cooperation with the CCPIT.
