On November 3, the business dinner of the Canada China Business Council (CCBC)’s 47th Annual General Meeting and Business Forum was held in Beijing. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended and addressed the event upon invitation. In his speech, Ren briefed on the spirit of the fourth plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. He emphasized the commitment to actively implement the important consensus recently reached between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and to work alongside partners such as the CCBC to foster practical cooperation between the business communities of China and Canada. Together, they aim to expand the pie of mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, and promote the early return of China-Canada relations to a healthy, stable, and sustainable track.
