Weeks, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Corning. They witnessed the signing of an exhibition cooperation document about  the second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) between China International Exhibition Center Group Limited (CIEC) and Corning.

Ren highlighted the key points from the third plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China Central Committee, particularly the overall plan to promote high-level opening-up and intensify efforts to introduce and utilize foreign investment. He hoped that Corning would actively participate in China’s further deepening reform comprehensively and Chinese modernization, as well as continuously expand its investment and cooperation in China. The CCPIT will continue to play the role of its special working mechanism to serve foreign-invested enterprises, assisting companies like Corning to better operate and develop in China.

Weeks said that strengthening the cooperation between the business community of China and the U.S. is crucial to promoting the development of China-U.S. economic and trade relations and even the bilateral relationship. Corning is firmly optimistic about the prospects for China’s economic development, and willingly continues to invest in the Chinese market so as to tell good stories of mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation between Chinese and U.S. enterprises, and to inject more positive energy into the China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation.
