On September 2nd, the 2022 China (Zaozhuang) International Lithium Battery Industry Expo was held in Zaozhuang, Shandong Province, and Yu Jianlong, Member of the CPC Leadership Group of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended and addressed its opening ceremony.

Yu Jianlong said that developing the lithium battery industry is a significant measure for China to achieve energy transformation and strategic goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. The CCPIT and China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) stand ready to work with all parties concerned to support the expo in innovation-driven development and branding, enhancing it as a brand, amplifying its function, and making contributions to promoting the open development of lithium and new energy industries.

With the theme of "Developing green and safe energy, Building the lithium battery industry capital in Northern China", the expo was co-hosted by the CCOIC, CCPIT Shandong Sub-council, Energy Administration of Shandong Province, and Zaozhuang Municipal People's Government. The three-day expo, with an exhibition area of 30,000 sqm, held activities such as the opening ceremony, themed forums, industry investigation, an innovation competition and innovation forum.
