On November 7th, the 2022 China International Public Procurement Forum (CIPPF) was held online. Zhang Shenfeng, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) attended the forum and delivered a keynote speech.

Zhang Shenfeng noted that international public procurement is an integral part of global industrial and supply chains. Participation in international public procurement therefore helps enterprises make full use of resources in both international and domestic markets, as well as advance international economic and technological cooperation on a wider scale and at a higher level. The CCPIT stands ready to continuously play its role as an open window and a bridge to enhance the network serving businesses, encourage and support more enterprises with innovative products and services to take part in international public procurement, making a greater contribution to an open world economy.

As a side event of the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE), this year’s CIPPF is co-hosted by the Ministry of Finance and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government with the CCPIT and others as supporting organizations. Relevant government departments, foreign envoys to China, heads of international organizations, and representatives from the business community also attended online.
