On August 31st, the International Petroleum and Natural Gas Enterprises Conference 2022 (IPEC 2022) was held in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province. Ke Liangdong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended its opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Ke Liangdong said that the CCPIT, as an important bridge for domestic and foreign business community to carry out economic and trade cooperation, gives full play to its unique functions and advantages of connecting governments and enterprises, domestic and foreign market, as well as supply and demand side, and works hand in hand with all parties concerned to provide better services and more convenience for petroleum and natural gas enterprises from across the world. He suggested that the business environment should be continuously optimized so that more market players will benefit from the development of petroleum and natural gas industry; and market players in the petroleum and natural gas industry should continuously improve the risk prevention and control capacity and actively participate in global energy governance.

Hosted by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and supported by the CCPIT, the IPEC 2022, with the theme of "Discussing Petroleum and Natural Gas, Sharing Opportunities and Seeking Common Development", was attended by representatives from relevant national ministries and commissions, as well as those from relevant institutions and enterprises in the commodity, petroleum and natural gas, and petrochemical industries.
