CCPIT Vice Chairman Chen Jian'an Leads a Delegation to Visit Macao

From November 2 to 5, Chen Jian'an, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), led a delegation to visit Macao. He attended relevant activities of the 18th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC) and delivered a speech at the closing ceremony.

During the visit, Chen Jian'an held separate meetings with Zhang Yingjie, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR); Tai Kin Ip, Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macao SAR Government; Xie Yongqiang, Chairman of the Administrative Committee of Macao Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM); Ji Xianzheng, Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao); Chui Sai-cheong, President of Macao Chamber of Commerce; as well as heads of major business associations including the Industrial Association of Macau, Macau Importers and Exporters Association, and Macau Shippers' Association. They exchanged views on issues such as inviting participation in the fourth Business Conference on Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Development and the fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), further promoting economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between the Mainland and Macao's business communities, and supporting the development of Macao's platform for economic and trade cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.

Chen Jian'an also conducted research visits to the Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform and the CCPIT Representative Office in Macao.
